Colchester United club captain Luke Prosser will be hoping to continue his comeback from injury, when the U's take on Grimsby at the weekend.
Luke returned to the first team fold after a fourteen month absence in last weekend's game at Wycombe Wanderers and will now be aiming for a place in the starting eleven in the coming weeks.
With Ryan Inniss also fit again, there's real competition for places in the U's back line, with Kane Vincent-Young also nearing a comeback to John McGreal's matchday squad.
Tom Lapslie is in the squad after his recent quadricep problem, whilst Brandon Comley will also be involved after his switch to become a full time U's player this week.
The U's ran out 3-2 winners in the same fixture last season and will be aiming for all three points to close the gap on the top three as the season enters the crucial final third of fixtures.
