Colchester United defender Lewis Kinsella is to leave the club, after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent on Wednesday.
Lewis arrived at the club in the summer of 2016, joining the U's after leaving Aston Villa.
He was a regular in the first half of 2016/17, but lost his place in the side after an ankle injury sustained in October, that ruled him out of action for several months.
After fifteen games last season, he played a further fourteen times in 2017/18, but found regular first team football hard to come by.
He joined Aldershot on loan at the start of January, playing three times.
We wish Lewis well with his future career and thank him for his efforts whilst at the club.
Update, January 31st 5.00pm
Lewis has subsequently rejoined Aldershot Town on a permanent basis. Good luck Lewis!
