Young Forward Called Up

Colchester United boss John McGreal has added Courtney Senior to his squad for the weekend clash at Adams Park.

The young forward has impressed in U23s games and training and will travel to Buckinghamshire as the U's look to get back to winning ways.

Although the U's were defeated against Cheltenham last time out, it was only their third loss in the past eighteen league fixtures.

Senior joins a number of other youngsters in the squad, and will wnat to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Frankie Kent, Kane Vincent-Young, Tom Lapslie, Drey Wright and Sammie Szmodics, who have all become regulars for McGreal.

Going back one game from that eighteen match run, it was Wycombe who inflicted a 2-1 defeat on the Us at the Weston Homes Community Stadium back in September.

A victory on Saturday will lift the U's above their hosts, and should results go their way, John McGreal's side could be sitting in fourth place in the League Two table.

U's fans travelling to the game will be able to purchase tickets on the day of the game at Wycombe, but there will be an increase of £2 on all prices.
