Colchester United's Football In The Community, (FITC), Scheme are holding a United Against Knife Crime Holiday Activity Session
The United Against Knife Crime Programme has already delivered community safety sessions around knife crime in numerous schools across north Essex, and are now offering it during the School Holidays.
As well as inviting students from our schools delivery to join us for a day to recap our findings as well as looking into the issue of knife crime and community saftey in more detail, any children who haven't had a visit to their school during term time are most welcome.
As part of activity day, we will be proving particpants with snacks and lunch as well as sporting activities including football, handball and dodgeball.
The day will be delivered by our Colchester United Football in the Community United Against Knife Crime team, whilst involving local partner organisations as well as guest speakers and experts to enhance the information given to all involved in the day.
Our United Against Knife Crime Holiday Activity will take place on Thursday 9th August between 10:00am and 3:00pm at Shrub End Community Sports Centre and places can be booked using the link below. There is no charge for the UAKC Activity Day itself however there is just a £1.00 booking fee for participants.
