Colchester United's new signing Harry Pell will make a quick return to his former club, as the U's were drawn against Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup.
He left the Whaddon Road outfit in the summer, but will be back there in the week commencing August 13th with his new teammates.
Cheltenham were one of thirty-three sides that the U's could have been paried with, but the twenty-six year old was sure that it would be the Robins that would come out of the hat.
"Then my phone went mad when the draw was made and I'm really looking forward to it.
"I got on great with the fans while I was there, but it was terrible way to say goodbye when we lost 6-1 at home to Coventry so it will be great to go back and say a proper goodbye."
"I will be going there as a Colchester United player though, so as much as I enjoyed my time there, I'm hoping we get through to the Second Round."
