Colchester United are delighted to welcome striker Aaron Collins on loan from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
21-year-old Aaron joins on a season long loan, as the U's bolster their forward ranks ahead of pre-season getting underway.
Aaron started life at Bristol City and joined Newport from the Robins. He broke through into the Exiles' first team and his performances attracted attention from Burnley before Wolves signed him in the 2016 January transfer window.
He has since enjoyed a number of loan spells with Notts County, Tranmere Rovers and Maidstone United and last season was a regular in Wolves' U23s before returning to Newport on loan in the second half of last season.
He will now get another opportunity to ply his trade at League Two level, and will meet up with his new teammates when the team return for pre-season later this month.
Aaron's loan move will be completed subject to paperwork clearance by the relevant authorities.
