Colchester United will head to Wales for the second year running as part of their pre-season build-up.
John McGreal's squad will once again travel to the north west for a pre-season camp, culminating with a friendly fixture against Colwyn Bay on Friday 13th July, with a 7.00pm kick-off.
They will then return to Essex ahead of the club's Open Day on Sunday 15th July .
The pre-season campaign will begin at Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday 7th July, giving fans the first chance to see the new faces already added to the squad this summer.
And McGreal's men will go to Braintree to face the newly promoted Iron on Tuesday 10th July.
Further dates are due to be added to the calendar, but at present the schedule is therefore as follows:-
Saturday 7th July: Maldon & Tiptree (A, 3.00pm)
Tuesday 10th July: Braintree Town (A, 7.45pm)
Friday 13th July: Colwyn Bay (A, 7.00pm)
