St John Fisher Primary School from Loughton will represent Colchester United at the EFL Kids Cup National Finals on League Two Play-off Final day at Wembley Stadium.
Their journey began on Tuesday 23rd January, when they were victorious at the 16 team competition delivered at Shrub End Community and Sport Centre.
On Thursday, they travelled to Swindon Town to compete in the League Two Area Finals, and the day got off to a great start in the group stage they were unbeaten, winning five out of five:-
Luton Town - 2-1
Newport County - 2-0
Stevenage - 1-0
Wycombe Wanderers - 2-1
Yeovil Town - 3-0
Cheltenham Town were the opponents in the final and after a tight game, Colchester United won the game and competition after a moment of magic from the Colchester United captain.
