Goalkeeper Bailey Vose will be Colchester United's second signing of the summer, joining from Brighton and Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee.
The twenty year old shot stopper will be a U's player from July 1st, subject to paperwork approval, and will sign a two year deal which keeps him in north Essex until the summer of 2020.
Having progressed through the Seagulls' Academy, he signed his first professional contract in June 2016 and made a number of U23s appearances in the 2016/17 campaign.
He was loaned out to Concord Rangers and Dartford during that campaign, and then spent time at Welling and Eastbourne Borough on loan in the 17/18 season.
Vose becomes the second new signing as the U's reshape for the new season, following the capture of Harry Pell from Cheltenham Town.
