On Tuesday 22nd May, Colchester United Football in the Community delivered a Premier League Primary Stars Festival in addition to School Sport Curriculum sessions at the home of Colchester United.
Engaging with 12 schools and over 150 participants, School Sport Development Officer Ben Elmer said: "Inviting all our partner schools to take part in these events at Weston Homes Community Stadium allows us to celebrate our partnerships with schools we have supported this year."
There was football on offer, along with a wide range of other sports as the sun shone at the stadium.
And Adam Frost, teacher at St Clares Primary School, said: "It has been great to attend, Colchester United Football In The Community have supported our school for the last few years, really focusing on developing our teacher’s ability to deliver PE."
