The season may have been over for the players on the 5th of May but, for the U's commercial team, the work didn't stop there! Contrary to what some may have you believe, they are not on holiday until August, so let’s take a look at what has been going on so far and what will be keeping them busy for the next few months.
Straight after the last game of the season, the commercial team were back in work on Bank Holiday Monday for the start of pitch hires, followed by the End of Season Dinner on Tuesday and finally a Sportsman’s Dinner with Frank Bruno on the Friday.
Then it was into another two weeks of pitch hire, whilst juggling the launch of Season Ticket renewals.
Now the sponsorship and advertising work really kicks into gear, as the team source sponsors for all areas of the stadium and kits.
