And there was also a victory for Decarrey Sheriff, Ollie Kensdale and Callum Anderson, as their Maldon & Tiptree side ran out 1-0 winners over Soham Town to strengthen their promotion ambitions.
Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe came off the bench for Bromley, as they recorded a resounding 4-0 win over Hartlepool United on Saturday, with the U's Paul Rooney an unused sub for the home team.
There was not such good news for Cameron James, whose Braintree side fell to a late defeat against Aldershot, and for Noah Chesmain, who saw his Hitchin side fall to a 2-0 defeat away at Tamworth.
Over in Suffolk, Tariq Issa played 64 minutes for Needham Market in their 3-0 home defeat to Kettering, whilst down in Kent, George Brown played the full ninety minutes as Margate lost a two goal lead as they were beaten by Burgess Hill Town.
