Colchester United's U18s fell to a heavy defeat in their latest away game against a strong Millwall side.
An early goal saw them fall behind and it was soon three to the Lions in that opening period, with the lead at the break extended to five.
Having been stung by that first half, there was an improvement afer the break.
Millwall added a sixth, but the U's did claim one back as Sam Cornish set up Jake Hutchinson to hit yet another goal for him, with a low right footed finish.
There's a home game next up for the U's, as they host table topping Cardiff City at the weekend.
