Decarrey At The Double

Decarrey Sheriff continued his goalscoring start to life at Maldon & Tiptree, as he grabbed a brace in a 5-0 win away at Grays.

The Jammers were on top for much of the game and took advantage of a man advantage, with Grays being reduced to ten men in the first half.

The wait for a win goes on for Will Wright at Dagenham, but the Daggers will take great comfort in picking up a good point in a 0-0 draw against high flying Salford City.

Cameron James was also in National League action, as he made his Braintree Town debut in their game against Boreham Wood.

And he helped the Iron to their third point of the season, as they battled to a 1-1 draw on the road at the weekend.

U's forward Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe played his part in a dramatic comeback for Bromley on Saturday afternoon.

Bromley trailed by two goals going into the final moments of the game, before they scored twice in injury time.

Junior played the assist for the second goal, squaring it to former U's loanee George Porter to spark scenes of celebration at a point rescued.

There was no such drama for Tariq Issa, who was introduced off the substitutes' bench for Needham Market on Saturday, with his new side trailing 2-0 at the break.

Their hosts Alvechurch went on to grab a third in the second half and take all three points.

Noah Chesmain was in action for Hitchin at the weekend, but he too fell to defeat as, despite plenty of chances for his Hitchin side, they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Banbury United.
