Colchester United midfielder Tom Lapslie is set for a short spell on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery on Friday.
The U's midfielder had a small piece of floating bone in his knee and had that cleaned up ahead of the team's 3-1 win against Cheltenham Town.
The 22-year-old, who has now played 100 games for the first team, is expecte to be out for up to six weeks as he recovers from the operation.
