Oldham Next After Eventful Week For U's

Boundary Park next on the agenda

30 August 2019

Colchester United head to Oldham on Saturday, as they look to build on a hugely positive week for all concerned at the club.

Last Saturday's first league win of the season feels like some time ago now, but it started things off on the right foot for John McGreal's men.

A Carabao Cup win against Crystal Palace was followed by a fantastic draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the next round, but it's back to the nitty gritty of League Two football this weekend.

The U's will be without Harry Pell for the game in Lancashire, and will keep an eye on Ben Stevenson after he came off in the cup win over Palace on Tuesday.

They will welcome new boy Theo Robinson into the squad for the match, after the Southend United striker signed on loan on Thursday afternoon.

Oldham sit a point behind the U's in 22nd after the first five games of the new season and, although the Essex side sit in 17th at present, teams up to seventh spot are within a three point spread at this stage.

Tickets come off sale at the Col U Ticket Office at 2.00pm on Friday, with matchday prices as follows:-

Adults: £22.00
65+: £10.00
Students (with a valid NUS card/University ID): £10.00
U21s (with a valid ID): £10.00
U18s: £7.00

Please note that Oldham are working towards making Boundary Park a cashless stadium.

As such, there is no cash turnstile and tickets must be bought by cash or card at the club's Ticket Office.
