Colchester United have signed Theo Robinson on loan from fellow Essex side Southend United.
The thirty year old will now spend the next five months north of the county, subject to ratification from the relevent bodies, having signed a loan deal until January 2020.
He has been with Southend United since the January 2017 transfer window, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Swindon Town.
It was a successful spell in Wiltshire for the former Watford trainee, scoring seven goals in sixteen league appearances.
Before then, he has had spells at Doncaster, Derby and Millwall and has also represented Jamaica at international level.
Subject to the completion of paperwork, Theo is expected to travel to the North West for Saturday's clash at Oldham Athletic.
