Colchester United take on Manchester United on Wednesday night
John McGreal and the squad travel up to the North West to take on Man Utd in the Carabao Cup Quarter-Final.
After an indifferent start to the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have shown decent recent form including Premier League wins against Tottenham Hotspur and neighbours Manchester City.
The U's are in decent form themselves, being unbeaten in six league matches, and McGreal is looking forward to his side pitting their wits against the players at arguably the biggest club in the world.
"It doesn't matter much which Man Utd team is put out on Wednesday, it will full of quality and the lads will really want to do well against them individually and as a team.
"Let's be honest, we probably won't have the lion's share of possession and we'll have to defend well.
"But we want to make a game of it, like we did against Palace and Spurs, and see what happens on the night."
