Colchester United U18s enjoyed a dramatic game against Watford on Saturday in their first away game of 2019.
They went into the game still searching for their first league win of the season, but had shown better form in recent matches.
The hosts, having won 5-2 at Florence Park earlier in the season, were in a confident mood after beating Southampton in the week in a Fourth Round FA Youth Cup tie.
That all changed as the hosts then stormed back to take a 3-2 lead as they scored three times in a frantic ten minute spell.
Just when it looked as if it was going to be another U’s defeat, they struck back in the final minute of the match when their young triallist central defender equalised from a Harvey Sayer corner to secure them only their fifth league point of the season.
