Colchester United Football in the Community are delighted to announce we will be delivering our brand new Unite Our Communities project between February and December 2019.

We are looking to deliver our project to 6,000 young people across North Essex with ages ranging from 10 to 18 year olds.

Funded by the Home Office and Britain Stronger Britain Together, Unite Our Communities is a preventative and awareness raising interactive workshop where we look to educate and improve understanding.

Workshop Outcomes & Priorities

- Creating Resilient Communities
- Standing up to Extremism
- Offering Positive Alternatives to Vulnerable Young People

The workshop based around the above will see us touch on topics such as Extremism, Radicalisation, Hate Crime, Prejudice, Social Media Effects as well as Social Mixing and breaking down Community Barriers.

As part of our Unite our Communities programme, we are delivering Holiday Events and these would come as part of the delivery package for our partner schools.

Our workshops last between 45 and 60 minutes and we are looking to deliver to as many students as possible to raise awareness throughout our community.

Our delivery period for this project is from Monday 25th February 2019 to Friday 29th November 2019.

We are able to deliver full days to multiple classes or multi day activities with your school.

This programme is once again fully funded so free of charge to your school and we are happy to work around the needs of your school, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or potential amendments to the package.
