Colchester United have signed Abo Eisa on loan until the summer.
The Shrewsbury Town winger put pen to paper on Tuesday afternoon, signing on loan until the end of the season - subject to the usual approval from the relevant bodies.
Having moved from Sudan at an early age, Eisa played for St Albans City and Uxbridge, before signing for Wealdstone in the summer of 2017.
The Shrews weren't the only club interested a year ago, as Director of Football Tony Humes revealed as Eisa signed his U's deal this week.
"Abo was a player we watched closely and were keen to sign, and although we lost out to Shrewsbury for his signing last year, we have kept an eye on him.
"He is a talented young player, and I'm sure that he will be a useful addition to the club for the next few months."
