Colchester United will face Cefn Druids on Saturday in their latest pre-season fixture
John McGreal and the U's squad have been up in the North West for a training camp, and the game concludes the four day trip at Carden Park.
It will be the third game since the squad returned to pre-season training, with 2-0 victories coming in the first two against Bowers & Pitsea and Dulwich Hamlet.
Head Coach McGreal is expecting another tough test for the U's in Saturday's game, saying: "I'm sure they'll make it difficult for us, and will have their own things to work on ahead of their own campaign."
"They're a Welsh Premier League side, so we'll have to work hard to get the ball and work hard to keep it and do what we want with it.
"The lads have had a tough, but very productive few days at Carden Park and I'd like to thank all the staff there who have made the stay a good one again.
"I'd also like to thank Cefn Druids for agreeing to play us while we're up here, and I hope they have a successful season ahead."
