Henry Singleton

Health and Inclusion Officer

1 July 2019

Having completed my A Levels, I took my passion for football into an academic realm, enrolling in a bachelor’s course in Football Studies and Business at Southampton Solent University.

Having graduated with a wealth of knowledge on the inner workings of the football industry, I took a side step into recruitment.

Despite learning a great deal about how a business works in a fast paced environment, I ultimately realised I had to get back into sport.

This prompted me to move to America where I coached various club sides and took on sports development responsibilities, not no mention the life experience I gained working and living in a different country.

Having moved back to England I worked briefly for Ipswich Town, coaching in their Development Centres.

My current role for Colchester United in the Community is as Health and Inclusion Officer. I’m responsible for organising and implementing various programmes as well as taking on coaching responsibilities.

I’m FA Level 2 qualified in football coaching as well as holding the same qualification level in tennis with The LTA.
