Colchester United take on near neighbours Ipswich Town on Friday night
It's a step up in opposition for John McGreal and the squad, with only fifteen days remaining until the start of the League Two season for the U's.
The games so far have been relatively physical against the non-league opponents faced so far, but McGreal is expecting a different challenge against the League One Tractorboys.
"We have had the lion's share of the ball in the games so far, and that might not be the case against Ipswich.
"The plan is of course to have the ball, keep it and create chances, but they'll want to do exactly the same so we might have to work a bit harder to win the ball back at times.
"I'm sure that they want a strong start to the season the same as we do, so it should be a very competitive game as the players on both sides start really vying for those starting places."
Tickets will be available to purchase on the night, but we highly recommend that you buy in advance to avoid the queues - buy online by clicking HERE.
