Colchester United U23s boss Kevin Horlock has departed the club to take on a full time position with Needham Market.
Kevin, who joined the U's in 2016, had acted as Needham's Academy Manager at the end of last season, but has now opted to take up the job on a full time basis.
U's Director of Performance Jon De Souza said: "Kevin has decided to move onto Needham, so we thank him for his time at the club.
"We are busy preparing for the new season at Florence Park at present, and we will look at replacing Kevin as part of those preparations."
During his time with the U's, Kevin spent a year as Maldon & Tiptree's manager alongside his U23s assistant role, and then stepped up to be U23s boss when Wayne Brown took the Jammers job in the summer of 2018.
We'll have news of how things will shape up in the Academy soon.
