U's Aim To Build On Weekend Win

Colchester United take on Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday night, looking to consolidate their place in the top seven and move closer to the top three.

The U's picked up an important three points with their win over Newport at the weekend, and will be aiming to grab another victory when Forest Green come to town on Tuesday.

John McGreal's men won 1-0 at Rovers' New Lane Stadium earlier in the season, thanks to Sammie Szmodics' first half goal and the U's top scorer will be aiming to match last season's tally of 13 goals with another strike in the latest home game.

The match could come too soon for absent midfield duo Harry Pell and Tom Lapslie but both are making progress towards a return to action as the season enters its final run in.
