Ipswich Town are amongst the opposition for Colchester United during pre-season in July.
The U's neighbours will visit the JobServe Community Stadium on Friday 19th July, as John McGreal and Steve Ball continue preparations for the upcoming League Two season.
Before they face Town, they will be travelling to non-league sides Dulwich Hamlet and Wealdstone and will also be away from north Essex on the weekend before the league starts - with Dover Athletic welcoming the U's to Kent.
