Ipswich Update

Book online to beat the queues

11 November 2019

Colchester United take on near neighbours Ipswich Town on Tuesday night

It's a group game decider for the U's, as they look to progress with Ipswich into the knock-out stages of the Leasing.com Trophy.

Tickets are still available online, click HERE to purchase, with the 'Print at Home' option eliminating the need to queue for your ticket at the stadium.

And there are still parking places available in the stadium car park, which can also be booked online HERE.

Town have already qualified thanks to two wins against Spurs U21s and Gillingham, whilst the U's sit on four points after the win over the Gills and a draw with the Spurs youngsters.

Spurs winning the subsequent penalty shoot-out meant they can still catch the U's for second place in the group.

It's in the U's hand though, as a win would mean John McGreal's side would top the group on seven points, with Town progressing in that second place.

And with over 2,500 town fans expected to head to the JobServe Community Stadium, McGreal wants as many U's fans to back the team as posible.

Immediately after Saturday's game, he told the Colchester Gazette: "By all accounts, Ipswich have already sold over 2,000 for the away end.

"They're coming fully-loaded, which shows the terrific support they've got.

"But hopefully, despite our disappointing performance at the weekend, our fans will stick with us and get behind us because we need their support.

"We'd love our supporters, their family and friends, to come along so we're not outnumbered here at home."

PLEASE NOTE: This game is now all-ticket for Ipswich Town supporters and all away tickets must be purchased from Ipswich Town FC in advance of the game. No away tickets will be sold at the game itself.
