Carabao Cup Quarter-Final tickets to go on sale
Colchester United take on Manchester United in the Carabao Cup Quarter-Final on December 18th, and Chairman Robbie Cowling has issued the following information about the purchasing procedure:
Tickets for the Carabao Cup Quarter Final against Manchester United will go on sale on Wednesday 20th November.
Our entitlement is 7,410 tickets but Manchester United have generously allocated us 8,495 tickets.
I believe that 8,495 tickets will be enough to satisfy demand, but as it is an historic game for the club with a chance to make history against what is possibly the biggest football club in the world, it is only correct that we prioritise ticket sales.
To help us manage that process and to reduce the need for queueing at the ticket office or on the phone, my IT team are currently enhancing our online ticketing system to allow us to sell away tickets online.
From Wednesday 20th November at 6pm, we will start selling online with an exclusive period for those who are Season Ticket holders or have an Annual Subscription.
To buy online, the Season Ticket / Annual Subscription holder will need to simply log into their account on www.colutickets.com where the Manchester United fixture will be available for them to click on the ‘Buy tickets’ button and purchase up to four tickets.
At this time, the fixture will only be available to those accounts that have bought a season ticket or an annual subscription.
From Thursday 21st November at 10am, the fixture will also be made available to online accounts who have purchased match credits and those accounts will also be able to buy up to four tickets. These tickets can only be purchased online at www.colutickets.com.
From Friday 22nd November at 10am, the fixture will also be made available to online accounts who have added at least £50 to a Privilege Card this season and those accounts will be able to buy up to two available tickets. These tickets can only be purchased online at www.colutickets.com.
From Monday 25th November at 10am, the remaining tickets will go on general sale and will be available to purchase from the ticket office, over the phone or online at www.colutickets.com.
