Percy Heads Out On Loan

Kiangebeni signs for Hertford Town

14 October 2019

Percy Kiangebeni has joined Hertford Town on loan

The striker has been with the U's U23s for the past two seasons, and will be looking to get some more game time in competitive men's football.

Having already spent time on loan at Concord Rangers, he now heads to Hertingfordbury Park ahead of this weekend's fixture against Staines Town, and will remain with the Isthmian South Central Division side until the beginning of January.

Director of Football Tony Humes said of the deal: "Percy experiencing senior men's football, instead of the U23s he's been playing so far, is something that we feel will continue to benefit him."

"This is something we look to do with a lot of our youngsters, and it can come at different times in each player's development depending on when they need that experience.

"We've now got Percy and Ollie Kensdale out on loan, and the aim is for them to become better players in their respective spells away."
