Colchester United are delighted to welcome back former winger Callum Harriott on a two year contract.
The 25-year-old, who left Reading at the end of last season, penned the deal to sign with the club on Thursday afternoon.
Callum started life in the Charlton Athletic academy and made his debut in the 2010/11 season, before breaking through into the first team on a regular basis in the 2013/14 season, playing 34 times.
He first signed for Colchester United in the 2015/16 campaign, as Tony Humes brought him into his squad for the first half of that season.
He returned to Charlton and made a total of 94 appearances for the Addicks before signing for Reading on a three year contract in the summer of 2016.
He made 30 appearances for the Royals in the Championship and will now look to make another big impression in Colchester colours after signing ahead of this weekend's game against Walsall.
Callum's move will be completed subject to paperwork clearance.
