Colchester United now know the fixtures ahead of them in the 20/21 Sky Bet EFL League Two season.
The fixture list was released on Friday morning, with the U's facing games against relegated and promoted sides in the first three of the new campaign.
Head Coach Steve Ball is looking forward to the league starting, and is obviously hoping for a positive start.
On hearing the fixtures, he told the official website: "I can't wait to get going with the competitive league games."
"We all know there's a job to do in pre-season, and you have to plot your way through the build-up games, but the first league game is constantly on your mind and you just want to get to that one.
"I have no doubts that every game will present challenges, and there will be some unknown quantities in each opposing side as they have made changes - but we want a strong start and a solid foundation for the season.
"We also have games against sides new to our league early on and they will both think they have things to prove one way or another.
"We are preparing well with games against League One opposition and gearing up to be in peak condition come the beginning of the season.
"Unusually, the season starts with two cup fixtures but we'll be more than ready for them and for the long league season ahead."
