Colchester United will take on Reading on September 5th.
The U's were drawn to play away at the Madejski Stadium in the First Round of the Carabao Cup.
All first round games are due to take place on the weekend of 5th/6th September, and the U's will be taking on the Royals on Saturday 5th.
Following discussions between the clubs, it has now been confirmed that the game will kick-off at the usual Saturday afternoon time of 3pm.
It will of course be a game that has to be played behind closed doors, but further discussions will be taking place regarding the streaming of the game to both sets of supporters.
