Colchester United's EFL Trophy group games have been finalised.
The first will take place ahead of the U's League Two campaign, with Steve Ball and the squad heading down to Fratton Park to take on Portsmouth on Tuesday 8th September.
Premier League side West Ham will then send their U21s side to the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday 29th September *.
The final group game will also be played here in north Essex, as local rivals Southend United provide the opposition on Tuesday 10th November.
