U's Back Behind Closed Doors

New Tier Four Regulations for north Essex prevent fans attending JCS

23 December 2020

Colchester United will have to play their homes games without fans in the JobServe Community Stadium.

Following the latest Government briefing, all parts of Essex that weren't already in Tier Four will be escalated into it on Boxing Day.

It means that Colchester United supporters will not be able to attend home matches, including the clashes against Cheltenham Town and Tranmere Rovers over the Festive Period.

These two, and any subsequent matches played at the Jobserve Community Stadium, will now have to be played behind closed doors until the area is moved back to Tier Two.

All Seasonal Permit holders will now be provided with an iFollow live stream code again, with any balance being refunded to their Privilege Card.

Any supporters that purchased our 'Three Match Permit' will also receive an iFollow code for the relevent games and have their balance refunded onto their Privilege Card.

Individual 'Match Permit' sales for forthcoming matches will be suspended until such a time that supporters can attend matches again.

We will miss you and we hope to see you all back at the stadium as soon as possible.
