Louis Dunne has joined Farnborough on loan.
The twenty one year old has been with the U's U23s this season, but will now spend time in Hampshire playing competitive league football for Farnborough.
His loan deal will run until the end of February, subject to the usual ratification from the relevent bodies.
Louis joined the U's at the age of eight, and progressed all the way through the Academy, including being one of the very first intake of U's youngsters joining the Elite Football Programme at Thurstable School.
He made his first team debut in March 2016, and his first start came only a month later, against Burton Albion.
His progress was interrupted by an Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture, but he has been fully fit for the past eighteen months.
Director of Football Tony Humes said of the loan: "Louis is another of our young players that will benefit from playing first team football in a competitive league environment."
"U23s football has become a little comfortable for him and he needs to be tested further.
"Hopefully, he will get plenty of match action at Farnborough, and the deal will benefit Louis, Farnborough and ourselves."
Farnborough are currently mid-table in the Southern League and Louis is expected to go straight into their squad for this weekend's home game against Beaconsfield.
