Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu has returned to Charlton Athletic
The twenty year old joined on loan at the beginning of September, and went straight into the team for the Leasing.com game at Gillingham twenty four hours after signing.
He went on to make a total of ten appearances for the U's, no mean feat for such a youngster in a squad where competition for places was so strong in his positions.
Colchester United thank Brendan for his time at the club, and wish him good luck in his future footballing career.
