Colchester United U23s take on Cardiff City on Monday
The second consecutive away trip for the youngsters sees them travel to South Wales, to take on the Championship side.
Richard Hall's squad face an early start, with the game kicking off at 1pm on Monday afternoon, but he expects his side to make light of the long journey.
"We'll have an early morning start for the game at Cardiff, but the preparations have been done over the weekend, and all the boys are eager to do well against what we're sure will be a strong Cardiff set-up."
"We ran Millwall close in the last match, and we'll have to work hard for any positive result in this one."
