No Positive Tests

Second phase of testing yields no positive results

3 June 2020

The second phase of testing in League Two has resulted in no positive tests across the four clubs.

In this phase, conducted over the past few days, there were 126 tests completed, with all tests coming back as negative for the coronavirus.

Colchester United players have been back training at Florence Park in small groups this week, in preparation for the provisional Play-Off Semi-Final against Exeter City.

The winners will play either Cheltenham Town or Northampton Town, and it has been these four clubs that have taken part in the League Two testing.

It is expected that the next step for training procedures in League Two will be a move to full contact training, following the lead of Premier League clubs that are already at this stage.
