Following the latest Government update, the Colchester United Football in the Community Team have postponed all activities other than the school programmes.
Following yesterday’s government update and advice to avoid all non-essential social contact to combat the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Colchester United Football in the Community has postponed all activities apart from our schools programme until further notice. This includes the operation of all activities and bookings at Shrub End Community and Sport Centre.
Only our schools programme will remain operational at this stage as we continue to support schools while necessary.
Until yesterday’s update, we were continuing our activities for as long as possible in order to maintain our support for the local community and provide our services for those who need us, in line with the advice and request from Government.
Following the announcement that over 70’s may be required to self-isolate for an extended period of time, we are offering organisations who work directly with the elderly or vulnerable to get in touch should they require support of their services. Please read MORE HERE.
