Louise Singing For The U's

FA Fans Choir want YOU to join in on Saturday

22 May 2020

The 2015 FA Fans Choir are urging all supporters to sing on Saturday for NHS Charities Together.

Colchester United's representative Louise Brookes and her fellow 2015 FA Fans Choir members are urging everyone to join them in singing Abide With Me at 5.30pm on Saturday.

That was due to be the kick-off time for this season's FA Cup Final, which has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All monies raised will be going to NHS Charities Together, helping those very people that have been on the frontline fighting the virus over the past months.

The choir have reunited at a social distance online to create a Nationwide Call to sing the time honoured traditional anthem ‘Abide With Me’. See the video HERE.

“We’re all footy mad and missing our singing!” - Fans Choir Member Dave Gilhooley, who has compiled the video from Fans Choir Members Contributions from all over the country.

"NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus.

"It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work."
