Colchester United's FITC team have joined up with the 2.6 Challenge.
As a charity currently supporting the local community throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, our FITC, (Football in the Community), team is looking for you to support them by getting involved in the 2.6 Challenge.
Join Colchester United’s mascot Eddie the Eagle in completing these worthwhile challenges!
What is it?
Well it can actually be anything you want it to be – as long as it involves 2.6 somewhere:
- 26 challenges over 26 days
- 26 hours of yoga,
- 6 mile run
- 6 miles of swimming in a paddling pool!
- More ideas can be found here: https://www.twopointsixchallenge.co.uk/inspiration.html
We are looking for people to challenge themselves in whatever they would like, to raise funds for Colchester United’s Football in the Communities, Coronavirus Community Support Campaign and supporting the vital work that Colchester Foodbank are carrying out for many vulnerable people across Colchester.
How?
Option 1
You can ask people to support you by donating drectly to our Community Outreach Campaign page , this saves you setting up your own JustGiving page.
Option 2
Follow this link to get involved: https://twopointsixchallenge.justgiving.com/get-involved. From there, type in ‘Colchester United Football in the Community’ and begin fundraising for us. Share your challenge with as many of your family and friends as possible and ask them to donate to your page.
We would also love to see your challenges in action: you can share these on our Facebook pages, (Colchester United Football in the Community), and via twitter @ColU_FITC.
