Like all English football clubs, Colchester United will be taking part in the social media boycott this weekend in response to the vast amounts of online abuse that has been seen across the platforms.
It means that there will be no coverage across Twitter, Facebook and Instgram from the official Colchester United accounts until Tuesday morning.
