Colchester United's next home match sees the Shrimpers make the trip to north Essex, in what could prove to be a pivotal game come the end of the season.
Southend have been struggling at the foot of the table for much of the season, with the U's looking to get revenge for the Boxing Day defeat at Roots Hall.
