Stream the U's in action on Saturday afternoon when Hayden Mullins' side take on Walsall for a 5:30pm kick-off.
It was a frustrating evening for Colchester United on Friday night, falling to a 5-2 loss to Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park. Despite a late fightback from United, two injury time goals thwarted the comeback as the home side took three points.
But the staff and players will have to dust themselves down and go again this weekend with the visit of Walsall to north Essex.
Earlier in the season the two played out a 1-1 draw at the Banks's Stadium. Callum Harriott's first half opener was cancelled out by an Elijah Adebayo effort in the second half.
This time United will be looking to get a valuable three points, trying to put some breathing space between themselves and Southend United ahead of the Essex Derby on Tuesday evening.
The game will kick-off at 5:30pm, behind closed doors due to the current restrictions, but you can watch the full game live on iFollow with commentary from BBC Essex.
