Colchester United have added a 'Match Permit Substitution' option to the ticketing system.
Following some supporter feedback, and an increase in fans having to miss games through positive COVID-19 tests and/or self isolation, a replacement option has been added to colutickets.com.
This means that if you can't attend a match that you have purchased a Match Permit for, you can bring on a substitute for yourself.
It is referred to as a 'Match Permit Substitution' and it is now live on colutickets.com.
The club has already experienced incidences of fans having to decline games and although we have already made allowances for this with a refund to their Privilege card, we feel this extra option will provide a good alternative and it's one that has already been asked about by a number of supporters.
