Steve Ball's side will be looking to go one better than their result at the weekend and get a much needed win to kickstart the second half of the season for the U's.
Picking up a point late on last week against a strong Mansfield side will be a solid base for Ball and Mullins' side to build on, particularly the way the U's went about the game.
After going behind to a frustrating goal early on, Callum Harriott's first half strike got his side back on level terms with five minutes of the first period to go.
But the U's found themsleves pegged back with less than ten minutes to go, only for Frank Nouble to find the back of the net in spectacular fashion in the eighty-ninth minute. And the U's would have counted themselves unlucky not to go on and win the game.
"If it wasn't for a really disappointing couple of goals on Sunday, then we win the game." - Steve Ball
"We've had five draws from seven games now, and it shows we are close, and they came against come good sides in Cambridge, Cheltenham and Mansfield - in-form teams.
"I'd like to think that with the new signings that have invigorated things, and we look a threat up top, that we are all systems go now for Saturday.
"It's just been one of those seasons, when you have teams that look like they're challenging one minute and then the next they look like they are really struggling. Crawley should have won on Tuesday against Stevenage, but they didnt.
"All I know of the league is that if we as a team now get a couple of wins, we will go right up to the top ten. That's how tight it is. That's where we are looking, and we need to do it. We have been so close of late, even in the last couple of minutes on Sunday, and we just need to get that win over the line."
