U's Offer Half Term Camp

February holiday camp made available

3 February 2021

Colchester United's Football in the Community team will be hosting a three day holiday camp over the February Half-Term.

After assessing the need for children of critical workers and vulnerable children for this February half term, we are delighted to be able to offer FREE limited spaces for children of parents who are eligible. You can find more information on eligibility here.

Rick Goldsbrough, Community Performance Manager said: "As always here at Colchester United Football in the Community, we’re looking to support those in our communities who are most in need right now and being part of the ‘Solution’ to this challenge we all face."

"With February half term being a potential barrier to child care for parents who are critical workers and vulnerable families in our community, we’d like to offer our support to help break down this barrier with this free programme in line with Government guidance."

The holiday camp will take place at the Shrub End Community and Sports Centre from 9am - 3pm Wednesday 17th- Friday 19th February 2021.

Due to the government guidelines currently in place, we are unable to take single day bookings.

Children will be placed in 'bubbles' of up to fifteen for the duration of the three days.

We are offering these activities FREE, however would welcome donations to our ongoing COVID 19 outreach work supporting the most vulnerable members of our community.
