As we enter another Lockdown period The Football in the Community Education Team’s Premier League Primary Stars Programme is available to support children learning from home and to those still learning in school during this time.
During the last examples of Lockdown the Premier League Primary Stars 1-2-1 Home Learning Support Programme delivered by the club’s Education Team has allowed for additional support for children in a time where their learning has had to be adapted. It has also supported Schools in supporting children still learning in school and supported Parents in a time where a lot of pressure is placed on them to support their child or children’s learning at home.
The Premier League Primary Stars 1-2-1 Home Learning Support Programme is available to ALL children in School Years 3-6 and offers a x6 session support programme assisting in the learning within:
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- PSHE
Programmes which are delivered by a member of the Colchester United FITC Education Team can support learning shared by class teachers in each subject or follow Schemes of Work detailed within:
- Reading Stars – VIEW SCHEME OF WORK
- Maths Stars – VIEW SCHEME OF WORK
- PSHE Self Development (Resilience, Teamwork, Kindness, Managing Emotions Confidence & Self-Esteem) – VIEW SCHEME OF WORK

Previous delivery within the last two lockdowns has highlighted the value of this programme and we’ve made a huge effort to accelerate our capacity of this programme during this current alternative learning period.
All lesson feedback is shared parents and Class Teachers so all can stay on track with the progress of individuals over the delivery of the programme.
All sessions are delivered on the Zoom Meeting Platform with Adult supervision required (Online Safeguarding details will be shared during the registration process).
Please be aware although capacity has been increased we do have limited places on this programme.
Our Education Team will continue to adapt our Education Programmes to continue to cater for the needs and support of Schools , Pupils and Staff during this challenging period.
