Richard Hall's side play their first game of 2021 this afternoon, as they travel to take on Bristol City in the Professional Development League.
The U23s, who sit seventh in the table will come up against the side who are third in the table, looking to bounce back after their last game - a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Millwall.
It will be the U's first meeting with Bristol City this season, last taking them on in what turned out to be the last game of their season in 2020.
Richard Hall's side will be looking to put in a good performance, with the head coach saying:
"We want to go out there and put in a good performance that will get us the win.
"No doubt it will be a testing game against a team who are at the right end of the table. We will have to be at our best to get the win on their turf."
U's: Johnson, Martins, Kensdale, Tricker, Collinge, Weaire, Sims, Hutchinson, Gilbert, Hasanally, McLeod, Brown, Fernandes, Cornish.
